The *Moments* Leading up to Winter!

Buckle up because this blog is packed with adventures and a sprinkle of winter magic.

So, in my last post I mentioned the exciting trips we had planned, and guess what? One of those trips actually happened, and it was beyond amazing! Also the FASTEST trip I think we’ve made yet!

Let me explain—My wife, a friend, and I went to see Above & Beyond at Red Rocks. Can you believe it was our first time at that legendary venue? The energy, the music, the vibes—everything was just perfect.

If you know me personally, you most likely know how much Above & Beyond mean to me, and how theyre quite frankly the love song to my marriage. (They were also mentioned in an early blog)

They have this way of filling the crowd with warmth and love, even in cold Colorado weather! I made a sign for a chance to get picked to run up and press the play button. I didn’t get picked, but I cried when the people who got picked were up there because I would just die for a chance, and I am SO happy that they got to experience that. I plan to make another, bigger, brighter sign in the future and try again ♥️

We stayed at this super cute Airbnb, and the highlight was definitely Murphy, the doggo of the house. He greeted us with the scary at first-glance/ sweetest smile, showing his teeth in the most adorable way! Seriously, I’ll link the Airbnb later because you all need to meet Murphy!

We drove up Friday, and stayed just one night. We got to our airbnb at around 5 and we were picked up to get to the venue by 7!! The show ended at about 11pm/12am or somewhere in between. So we went straight back to the airbnb after. Woke up Saturday morning and went to an {okay} breakfast joint! Haha! Visited an insane dispensary with a view of the broncos stadium! 👇🏻

We ate at the cutest little Chinese spot for lunch before hitting the road. This place had a great price for some bomb food, also going to share a link!

We sadly head out of town around 3ish and stop at the famous Strawberry Fields in Pueblo, Colorado for some classic Strawbedry Cough! IFYKYK 🍓🔥

We then drove 6.5 hours to make it by 10pm,  just to hurry and get ready to make it to Effex Nightclub by 10:30/11so my wife can Dj!

Most people, I’m sure, are reading this like YOU DID ALL THAT?! Just to see A&B?

Well, people…. YES!

You think that was crazy? We met this couple who got off of a plane, at 5pm, returning from Above & Beyond’s special show in MEXICO, & went straight home to get ready and make it to Red Rocks the same NIGHT. It's something you'd understand once you get the chance to experience it.

So, when I say, lovely readers.. PLEASE, see A&B at least just once, I hope you'll trust me! There’s nothing like it. Bring tissue 🥲✨

(But wait, there’s more)

Right after that, we threw our own Halloween show called Bad Witches Only. It was a blast! We brought in our headliners and friends GoodTrouble & Risk-E from LA, and they helped us put on an unforgettable show. The costumes, the music, the crowd—it was everything we hoped for and more. But as soon as the show ended and our friends left town, it felt like winter decided to crash the party. BOOM! Snow and freezing temperatures hit us out of nowhere. Hello, winter!

In conclusion, to say I had an eventful last week of October would be.. a huge understatement. 

And thennn there was the election…Now, I’m not one to dive deep into politics, but I want you all to know that I’m here for anyone who needs an ear. The holiday season can be tough on top of everything else in this world we are visiting, so let’s remember to be there for each other. Stay warm, stay true to yourselves, and let's make it through this winter together.
